This painting "Alipasa's Mosque" was created as my experience of the dawn and the starry night above Sarajevo, where light and darkness meet at the moment of awakening of the city. The mosque is the central symbol – a spiritual pillar of light that connects the earthly and the heavenly. I apply the colors with a spatula, creating a tasteful texture that pulsates like the life of Sarajevo itself. The golden tones of dawn turn into the deep blue shades of night, while above the dome a universe full of stars spreads, as a metaphor for faith, hope and permanence. The BiH Presidency building can be seen in the background, which symbolically connects the spiritual and state dimensions of Bosnia - the light of soul and light, the fusion of past and present in one moment of light flashing.

In this work, I explore the landscape of Bosnia through expressive matter, strong color and symbolism of life's journey. The path that extends towards the observer, slightly shifted to the right, represents the metaphorical direction in which a person goes towards his "promised city" - a place of new experiences, excitement and inner discoveries. The horizon of the mansion and the house is placed in the upper third of the composition, creating an intuitive balance close to the golden ratio, while the illuminated star in the center of the sky acts as a landmark and a guiding spiritual signal. The lower field of vibrant strokes opens up the depth and energy of movement, and the eruptive sky and the layered application of paint shape my distinctive handwriting - a combination of landscape, emotion and the symbolic journey of man through life.

In the work "Sarajevo Guernica" I use the compositional logic of Picasso, but I transform it into my own expression about senseless war and human suffering. Fragmented figures scattered around the space become witnesses to the disintegration of the world, while their deformity carries the cry of pain and the internal explosion of the city. In the center of the picture, a mushroom emerges — a symbol of sexual energy, spite, and the renewing force of life that emerges from the ashes of destruction. Ironically, the figure on the side, with raised arms and grotesque poses, remind those who celebrate war as a circus of killing and suffering, caricatures of human madness. The female bra that she wears as a trophy becomes a symbol of burden and humiliation, but also a reminder of female sacrifice and the dignity that survives. At the bottom of the picture, a red wheel turns as a sign of the eternal movement of history — a bloody repetition and the hope of a new beginning. The strong contrasts of blue, red and yellow create an electric tension that enlivens the drama between destruction and renewal, darkness and light.

In this picture I have shown Sarajevo from a bird's eye view - a city that breathes light, color and energy of life. In the golden reflections of the morning and the blue of the river, a mosaic of roofs, streets and memories opens, scattered by strokes of the spatula and the rhythm of color. Everything is in motion - as if the city pulsates with its own heart, between reality and dream. Associations and forms pass into abstraction, because I consciously simplified the form so that the feeling could be seen more clearly than the image itself. This is Sarajevo that does not stand still - it radiates, burns, and spreads its warmth through every layer of paint.

In this picture, I painted a bridge as a symbol of the union of people, cultures and civilizations. I built its five arches with strokes of the spatula, as if they were held by people who embraced and linked their hands, making the bridge a living chain of community. The river below vibrates in layers of color, full of energy, light and movement, as if breathing in the rhythm of the earth. The Bosnian landscape along the coast, with villages and roofs, emerges from pasty layers of paint, between dream and reality. In every move I feel the breath of Bosnia - a warm, sincere, painter's dream of connection and life that never stops flowing. In this work, I explore the intimate landscape of a Bosnian mahala through thick material and strong golden accents. I build houses from fragmented strokes that merge with the trees and the sky, creating the impression that architecture and nature breathe as one. I use gold as a symbol of warmth, memory and spiritual light, while dark structures give rhythm and carry the construction of the image. With this layered approach, I want to show the old Bosnian house as a place of duration, silence and hidden life that flickers under the surface of paint.
